Fees

Fees are payable in advance before the start of each term. Fee increases usually occur on an annual basis in September and all fees are inclusive of any applicable taxes.

Funded Childcare and Early Years Fees – 15 Hours Free Early Education Entitlement

All eligible children aged 3 and 4 can access up to 15 hours per week of government funded early education during term time.

Lochinver House is registered to receive this funding.  Families may use the funded hours on their own or combine them with additional paid hours as part of our broader school day. Hours beyond the funded entitlement are charged at our standard hourly rate. All curriculum activities and specialist lessons are included in our educational offer.

Attendance Patterns

At Lochinver House, the funded hours sit within our high quality, curriculum led day.  All curriculum activities, specialist lessons, meals and snacks are included in our educational offer and are not charged as part of the funded entitlement.

For families choosing to take up additional paid hours, we offer recommended attendance patterns that support continuity and full access to our curriculum.

School Fees Plan

Parents may utilise the services of School Fee Plan if they wish to pay fees in monthly instalments. This is not operated by the School and details can be obtained via the link below.

Bursaries

The Governors recognise that school fees may restrict parents from applying for a place at Lochinver House School and are committed to widening access to the education offered at the School.

Accordingly, the Governors provide funds each year from the School’s resources to assist such families, where parental means would be insufficient to meet the fees in part or in their entirety.  Bursaries are awarded to pupils who will gain from a Lochinver House education and who will contribute to the life of the School.  Bursaries are offered at the start of each academic year and are reviewed annually.

Awards for pupils in any age group whose parents satisfy the rigorous means tested criteria are at the absolute discretion of the Governors and on the recommendation of the Head.

A Bursary application will not be accepted if a Registration Form has not been submitted.  The process of application commences once a pupil has completed a satisfactory assessment, and a place has been offered.  If you would like to discuss our application process further, please contact Bursar.
