Dance Workshops Boost Wellbeing at Private School in Hertfordshire
Pupils at Lochinver House, private school in Potters Bar, recently enjoyed an exciting day of dance workshops, designed to support wellbeing through movement and creative expression. Led by experienced performer and teacher Tom (LMSD), the sessions encouraged pupils to build confidence, develop coordination and work collaboratively in a fun and supportive environment. As a leading prep school in Hertfordshire, we are committed to ensuring every child’s wellbeing is nurtured alongside their academic progress.
Tom brought a wealth of professional experience across dance, music, television and theatre. His background includes performing in Oliver! in London’s West End, as well as working with renowned organisations such as ZooNation, Definitives Street Dance Crew and Digital Kid Music. He also holds a degree in Music Production and Sound Engineering.
The workshops were met with enthusiasm from pupils across the school, highlighting the positive impact that creative activities can have on confidence, wellbeing and engagement. At Lochinver House, opportunities like these are an important part of delivering a well-rounded education.
