After School Activities

A good education is a broad one. Excellent knowledge of academic subjects is complimented by an appreciation of the arts subjects and an enjoyment of sports.  At Lochinver House, boys can also discover enjoyment in a wide range of after school activities on offer beyond the hours of the normal school day.

‘Clubs aplenty from Reception, including chess, Lego, animation, Roman mythology and creative arts. Plus wrap-around care (costs extra) from 7.45am to 6pm (including tea for those that want it) and homework club for older boys.’ – Good Schools Guide

Lochinver House offers an abundance of after school activities for children from Reception, from Running and Football Clubs to Romans or Make it Clubs.  From Year 5, boys can take up the option of training and competing for the School’s sports teams or exploring those of fencing, archery, tennis, golf, Warhammer, to name but a few.

There are around 50 activities for the boys to choose from each week, all of which provide the boys with an exciting and diverse range of interests, sports and disciplines to explore.

All activities run by our staff are an hour in duration, for which there is a charge of £6.00.  Clubs given by external providers are charged for at their discretion.
