Watford Music Festival Piano Classes 2020

We were delighted to find out that that Ty, Year 8, gained first place in the Grade 7 Piano Class at the Watford Festival at the beginning of half term.  He also came first in the 11-14 years Open Class. Ty’s amazing achievement is all the more impressive as one of the very youngest performers in a very strong field.  He did absolutely brilliant job wining both classes! 

In addition, James, Year 6, came first in his Open Class, age 10yrs and under, and played with great poise and musicality. 

Our huge congratulations go to James and Ty and special mention must also go to Jake and Lucas, who performed and played really well and received some very good feedback.  Well done boys, we are very proud of you all! 

The Strings, Woodwind and Brass classes follow in a few weeks’ time – good luck to all the boys who have entered for these parts of the festival.
