Little L.E.O. Moves into Action!
Pre-Prep’s six Little L.E.O.s have moved straight into action after taking up their volunteered appointments this week. They are the youngest members of our environmental team here at Lochinver, the Lochinver Environmental Organisation, which has just completed its 10th year this summer. The Little L.E.O.s are helping to pack up ex-library books ready for donating to other schools either locally or in Africa. In L.E.O. we try to act local and think global. We are always looking for ways that help make our school and community more sustainable whilst also considering the wider global world. Once the books are packed and labelled into re-used boxes, they are sealed and stored for a quarantined time and for some other restrictions due to COVID. They will then start to be distributed to those who have use of them. This is saving these books from landfill and giving them a new life with others. We are very proud of our Little L.E.O.s and the great work they do!
