Working hard after school hours.
As part of Lochinver’s commitment to first-rate staff development, this week saw the third session (of a series of six) after school training sessions for the new participants in the HertsCam TLDW. As detailed last year, this is an innovative staff development programme that sees staff voluntarily embark upon extra study and work to extend their professional teaching and learning expertise. It enhances their already excellent practice and enables those taking part to focus on developing areas that are of interest to them and to the school community. This year the topics include developing greater independence with organisational skills to engendering better problem solving capabilities.
Lochinver remains the only Prep school in the country committed to these tremendous professional development opportunities.
It is hard work for all participants but certainly valuable.
RT @LHSPrepSport: After a very tough first round fixture, Lochinver progress to round 2 of the Investec ISFA Cup with a 2-1 win. Well done...
