Year 7 go to a STEM Workshop
On 3rd December 2015, five boys from year 7 attended a special workshop of STEM activities at St Edmund’s College. The afternoon provided the boys with a great opportunity to use tablets to explore and solve a range of challenges: from CSI-style investigations to programming robots and problem solving. As the title suggests, the afternoon involved lots of Science and Mathematical skills with an interesting insight into how these topics translate into careers in Engineering and Technology.
Yesterday's first ever Pre Prep Lego Club was a massive hit! The boys listened to 'Whatever next' by Jill Murphy and then designed rockets for Baby Bear to fly to the moon, complete with a seat for his companion, Owl. Next week the boys will design and construct landmarks. https://t.co/ENQ9gpqQHz
