Reception delight their audience
On a rather dull and rainy Tuesday afteroon, our youngest boys certainly managed to brighten things up with their wonderful performance of 'The Journey', specially written for them by Miss Attzs and arranged by Mrs Lund.
5 boys faced with a challenging journey to school learned some very valuable life lessons along the way. From the racing cars the boys learned to take their time and be careful, the aeroplanes taught them to aim high, the rowing boats showed them the benefits of working together in teams, the bicyles encouraged best effort and perseverance and the emergency services pointed out that it is good to be brave.
All of the boys spoke clearly, sang beautifully, behaved beautifully and acted with poise and a great deal of humour. It is impressive to see the journey they have been on during their first year at Lochinver House and how much they have achieved already!
Keep it up boys, you were certainly the heroes of the hour!
A highlight of the school year has to be Grandparents' Afternoon - thank you to all our visitors and to our amazing Year 5 boys for being such good entertainers and tour guides! https://t.co/XtMb8lOXxn
