Bounce VI - 2017

A wonderful day of challenge...

Last Friday, Lochinver House enjoyed its sixth Bounce Day. A day where boys from every year group were challenged to face unusual and different challenges to those faced in the everyday curriculum.

We saw boys take on code breaking skills in ‘I-Spy’, attempt to break world records in ‘Grit’, make life and death decisions in ‘Castaway and ‘A lot of Hot Air’, use their scientific and investigatory skills in ‘Whodunnit’, rebuild a mouse skeleton after picking through an owl pellet in ‘Look what you’ve Dun!’, build a new nation, anthem and all, in ‘Birth of a Nation‘, learn stage combat in ‘Battle Act’ and much, much more!

The boys had a wonderful day, they displayed so many of the core learning habits we seek to develop and when meeting with difficultly…they bounced back.
