Teacher Led Development Work

Class of 2015-2016

Now in its second cycle the Teacher Led Development Work (TLDW) programme has had another successful year at LHS. Last year we had four members of staff (Mrs Cortes, Miss Thomas, Mr West and Miss Hawkins) who were our first cohort through the programme. This year Mrs Chronias, Miss Jefferies, Mrs Curran and Mrs Owens have successfully completed this rigorous training programme that involves both research and in-school action. This year’s team’s projects ranged from looking at ways to encourage greater problem solving, to furthering independence in school and to developing spontaneous speech in MFL. This most recent ‘fab four’ received their certificates in assembly last week. The qualification they were all successfully awarded recognises their development in teacher leadership and will add significantly to the teaching and learning programme here at school. Congratulations to them all!
