Charity Coin Mosaic 2018
On Friday, Year 8 waved goodbye to Common Entrance exams, enjoyed a splendid celebratory barbecue on the front lawn and then expertly led the rest of the School in this year's annual Charity Coin Mosaic event, the theme for which was Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!
The sun came out for us and it was brilliant to see the whole school in action, working together in class groups to create their masterpieces, made entirely out of coins and bottle tops. Our huge congratulations go to class 5E who our Head Boys judged to have produced the winning design, entitled 'Wave Goodbye to Plastic'.
We also congratulate each and every class for producing such an amazing array of fantastic mosaics, they were all brilliant and thought provoking around this very serious issue for our planet!
The coins, which were generously donated by our families, will be given to this year's Head Boys' Charities; Crohn's and Colitis UK, Great Ormond Street Hospital and Mouth Cancer Foundation
Our thanks go to our entire school community for supporting this important initiative!
Yesterday's first ever Pre Prep Lego Club was a massive hit! The boys listened to 'Whatever next' by Jill Murphy and then designed rockets for Baby Bear to fly to the moon, complete with a seat for his companion, Owl. Next week the boys will design and construct landmarks. https://t.co/ENQ9gpqQHz
