A massive well done to Harry!
In addition to all of the fantastic achievements of our Lochinver boys at school, we are always delighted to hear about their additional endeavours and successes outside of the school day.
And so it is with immense pride that we share Harry's story today. Harry, who has recently turned 11 and is currently in Year 6, has been learning Karate since he was five years old. He is on track to earn his Black Belt very soon! This weekend, Harry took part in a competition and was the overall winner of the Sparring Brown Belt Southern Championships for Shotokan Karate, no mean feat considering that he was up against three thirteen year old boys!
We are looking forward to following Harry's journey, he is already tipped by his Sensei to represent Team GB in a few years' time if he continues to progress at such an amazing rate.
Our huge congratulations Harry!
Yesterday's first ever Pre Prep Lego Club was a massive hit! The boys listened to 'Whatever next' by Jill Murphy and then designed rockets for Baby Bear to fly to the moon, complete with a seat for his companion, Owl. Next week the boys will design and construct landmarks. https://t.co/ENQ9gpqQHz
