Well done Year 8!

'Wacky Soap' wows audiences

Wacky Soap by Mark Wheeler

Well done to all of our year 8 boys who delivered a most impressive performance of the play Wacky Soap by Mark Wheeler. They entertained a packed audience with extraordinary acting, singing, dancing and team work throughout.

Our amazing cast consisted of Unks, Inks, Silly Guards, The Common Family, Everyday Folk, Storytellers, production team, not to forgetting the Royal family.

Our Resplendent Rhyming Regent played by the one and only Soroush attempted to convince the Everyday Folk of his marvellous invention; ‘Wacky Soap’, but sadly the happy ending that he longed for was under threat.

The Everyday Folk of the Bower of Bliss including King Huff learnt that ‘happiness comes from within, not from quick fix lather on your skin.’

Despite the odd technical difficulty, the boys remained completely calm as they continued to support each other throughout the show. The humour, enthusiasm and energy was evident during both performances and there was certainly an element of Wackiness in the air.

Congratulations boys for all your hard work, it really paid off!
