The Learning Support Department provides sensitive, caring support to children with Specific Learning Difficulties (SPLD) and/or those who may need a booster session.
We continually monitor children's development, working closely with class teachers, tutors, subject teachers and parents, so that we are aware of any difficulties your child may be experiencing.
Our team of teachers are extremely well qualified in teaching children with SPLD and provide Action Plans to suit your child's unique requirements.
Within the school we have a C4C (Cause for Concern) system. This system enables teachers to raise concerns about any child within their care. Appropriate plans of action may then be adopted and monitored.
Furthermore, the Department provides a Drop-In session giving parents an opportunity to discuss with their relevant support teacher any concerns they may have without making any appointment.
A highlight of the school year has to be Grandparents' Afternoon - thank you to all our visitors and to our amazing Year 5 boys for being such good entertainers and tour guides! https://t.co/XtMb8lOXxn
