For those boys who need to be dropped before the beginning of the School day, there is a Morning Club for all Year Groups in the Dining Room every morning from 7.45am - 8.25am. There is a charge of £2 per morning for this facility and there is no need to pre-book.
The Teatime Club has proved a great success and is constantly changing to suit the demands of busy parents and active young boys. Teatime Club is an after school club run by qualified staff. It is available for boys in Reception to Year 3; places are limited and must be booked in advance.
We provide themed arts and crafts, messy play, outdoor play, group games, table and floor activities all chargeable for a small fee.
The Club starts at 3.15pm when a member of staff will sign your child into the Club. He is not allowed to leave until signed out by a designated person collecting him who must be over 18 years of age. The Club runs four sessions:
- 3.15pm - 4.00pm £4.50
- 3.15pm - 4.45pm (including a snack) £9.00
- 3.15pm - 6.00 pm (including a snack) £15.00
- 4.15pm - 6.00pm (including a light snack) £10.00
- 4.45pm - 6.00pm (including a light snack) £6.25
Teatime Club displays are in the entrance hall of the Salter Block and Teatime Club information is in the Year 1 cloakroom on collection.
Sessions are booked for the academic year and any changes must be made in writing to Teatime Club.
All boys must be signed out of Teatime Club by 6.00 pm. If you are late to collect your son, there will be a penalty charge of £15 for the first 15 minutes, or any part thereof, and a further £10 thereafter for each 10 minutes you are late.
Please contact Caroline Barr, the Teatime Club Manager, for any queries.
Late Stay Club
Late Stay Club runs from 3.35 to 6.00 pm, Monday to Friday for boys in Years 4 to 8. The boys are fully supervised by a qualified member of staff and will be provided with a light snack and a drink at around 4.30 pm. The Club takes place in the Senior Library.
If you require a regular weekly slot for your son, we ask that you pre-book his place in advance please, by completing the registration form. This allows us to ensure that the correct dietary needs and quantities for the daily tea are provided and that we have the necessary staffing levels. Occasional bookings are usually available but should be booked with as much notice as possible. If you require an emergency booking, please inform the Mrs Christensen or the School Office as soon as possible.
Boys in Years 5 to 8 who are not involved in an activity and not collected by 3.45 pm will automatically be sent to Late Stay Club for which a charge will be added to your end of term fees invoice. Similarly boys in Year 5 to 8 boys not collected at the end of an after school activity at 4.45 pm will automatically be sent to Late Stay Club which will, again, incur a charge.
- 3.35pm to 4.00pm £3.50
- 3.35pm to 4.45pm £8.50
- 3.35pm to 6.00pm £13.00
- 4.45pm to 6.00pm £6.25
All boys must be signed out of Late Stay Club by 6.00 pm. If you are late to collect your son, there will be a penalty charge of £15 for the first 15 minutes, or any part thereof, and a further £10 thereafter for each 10 minutes you are late.
